The meaning of 'Ummul Baneen' is 'Mother of Sons'. All of her sons were martyred along with Imam Hussain at Karbala. Hadrat Fatima Ummul-Baneen died on 13th Jamadi al-Thani, 64 A.H. in the holy city of Madinah and was buried in the famous Baqi cemetery.
